This project is one of the games developed in a collaboration called "Play Across Borders" between the Tokyo University of Technology, the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and the Hochschule Harz Wernigerode. The aim is to foster a team and friendship over country borders and develop a game prototype as a shared experience.
Feather Beyond sees the Player taking over the role of Yuki, a student with the fear of stagnation in his life. He usually mitigates that fear by chatting to his friend, who vanished. Now he is being followed by a crow and can shift into the Echoworld, a world where people's desires are being transmitted into their surroundings.
